DAY 3: Chocolate Nutella Brownies
Homemade brownies with the extra fudginess of Nutella added to the batter and swirled into the top.
Chocolate Nutella Brownies
1 cup butter, melted
1 cup sugar
1 cup brown sugar
2 tsp vanilla extract
1 ½ cups flour
¾ cup cocoa powder
½ tsp baking powder
½ tsp salt
1 ¼ cups Nutella, divided
Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease a 9×13” baking dish.
In a large mixing bowl, beat butter, sugars, and vanilla. Beat in 1 cup Nutella. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
In a small bowl mix flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt. Gradually beat flour mixture into wet mixture. Pour into prepared baking dish.
Warm ¼ cup Nutella in microwave for 15 seconds. Drizzle warm Nutella over the top of the batter. Drag knife through the batter to swirl.
Bake for 40-45 minutes (not longer). Cool to room temperature before cutting into squares.
Makes about 18 squares
