DAY 10: Toffee Sprinkle Cookies
A chewy cookie with a toffee crunch, covered in festive sprinkles.
RECIPE:
Toffee Sprinkle Cookies
1 cup butter
1 ½ cups sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp vanilla
3 ¼ cups flour
2 tsp cream of tartar
1 tsp baking soda
½ tsp salt
1 cup Heath toffee bits
About 1 cup of bakeable sprinkles
Preheat oven to 400°F. Line baking sheets with parchment paper or silicone mats.
Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in eggs and vanilla. Add flour, cream of tartar, baking soda, and salt and mix well. Mix in toffee bits.
Roll dough into 1” balls. Roll balls in sprinkles and place on baking sheets. Bake for 8-9 minutes. Cool on baking pan for 2-3 minutes before removing to wire racks to cool completely.
Makes about 4 dozen cookies
